The Korean language school, which is operated by the Office of Education in Ontario, operates a variety of programs that not only teaches our children about the Korean language—but also about our history and culture.
Suddenly, the Conservative government of DuPont, Wenzhou, is trying to shut down Korean language schools on Saturdays. Saturdays are especially important as there are very many parents who send their children to Korean school on this day. We must conserve this program, which helps nurture and develop our children’s cultural identities, in any way that we can.
The Ontario Korean Schools Association is working on a signing campaign to stop the Ford government’s budget cuts. I would like to invite all students, teachers, and parents to join us in letting our voice be heard to the Ford administrator
